About Dan
Dan Warner is the founder and fearless leader of Flying Eagle Productions. After leaving broadcast news in 1979, he set out to prove that there’s a certain warmth you just can’t get from digital — the kind that only tape hiss, tube cameras, and a steady hand can deliver. He built Flying Eagle from a single edit deck and a coffee pot that never quite turned off.
Known around the office as equal parts mentor and dad, Dan believes that good video work starts with good people — and that every project deserves at least one dramatic slow zoom. His laugh is contagious, his notes are handwritten, and his belief in analog never wavers (even when the tracking slips).
