Series - Story
Flying Eagle Productions is a fictional early-’90s small-town video crew. In the world of the show, they were founded in 1979 by Dan Warner, a man who believes every community deserves warm, broadcast-quality memories. From ribbon cuttings to regional car-dealer spots (not Trent Motors), they’ve captured it all on Beta SP — the professional standard for those who mean business.
Operating out of the Twin Prairies Business Park, their crews handle everything from corporate luncheons to homecoming coverage, using a proprietary workflow involving at least three tripods and usually one intern.
They take pride in analog craftsmanship: crisp interlaced detail, reliable timecode, and that unmistakable warm color bleed you can’t fake digitally.
Flying Eagle Productions: They don’t chase trends. They tape them.

The company’s name comes from the eagles that nest along the bluffs of the nearby Prairie River. Like those birds, they aim to soar above expectations and see the bigger picture. Over the years (in-universe) they’ve produced instructional tapes, local television commercials and live event coverage. Whether it’s capturing a county fair or experimenting with green-screen effects, they’re always learning and having fun.
